Cyrenian House - Serenity Lodge is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation service in Rockingham, south of central Perth. Established in 1977, the programme provides a structured and supportive setting where adults can step away from everyday pressures and build a stronger foundation for recovery. Treatment follows the therapeutic community model, with residents and staff working together to create a safe, accountable environment. Daily community participation complements personalised treatment planning, individual counselling, therapeutic groups, psychoeducation and practical life-skills development. Care is holistic and strengths-based, helping residents recognise their abilities while addressing substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Recovery at Serenity Lodge extends beyond formal counselling. Fitness, recreation, creative expression and shared responsibilities allow residents to practise healthier routines, communication and interpersonal skills. Multidisciplinary case management, community self-help connections and exit planning help prepare each person for life after residential treatment. The facility is set among landscaped gardens near the ocean and Rockingham café precinct. Private rooms, outdoor areas, recreation spaces, walking opportunities and an equipped fitness centre provide a comfortable setting for focused recovery while encouraging a balanced, active lifestyle.

It was a great experience. Having a place like Midland Withdrawal Centre in Perth is a real asset. The staff are fantastic, and the food is excellent. Cyrenian house saved my life!! After years of different rehabilitations, mental health units i finally find the one that really helped me change my life, my behaviours and the real reason I used drugs. I have been a polysubstance drug addict for over 15 years, starting on benzos then iv meth and ending with heroin. I thought I was beyond help, my last attempt to get clean I found Munda Mia tc. Its a womens only rehab in a beautiful setting in the hills. The accomodation is beautiful somedays It felt like a retreat. The staff and residents are amazing, its a safe space to get well! I have now graduated the program and am allowed to volunteer and give back. ! If your looking to change your life and get clean go to cyrenian house! You wont regret it!
Cyrenian house (Midland) is the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had and the support from very staff was incredible. I have learned to cope in life being good and deal with the situations. A big thank you to Vicky, Chris and all the staff 🙏 I have come out with god’s grace to deal with every day challenges.
