About Main Street Medical Centre

Main Street Medical Centre is a GP-owned, AGPAL-accredited family practice in Osborne Park, a well-connected commercial suburb of Perth. Alongside general and allied healthcare, the centre provides outpatient mental health support for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, bipolar disorder and the effects of trauma. Care is personalised around each patient's symptoms, circumstances and goals. Mental health care plans may combine individual counselling, trauma-specific therapy, lifestyle guidance, medication management and referrals to specialised providers. The centre takes a holistic view of wellbeing, considering sleep, nutrition, exercise, work-life balance and other everyday factors that can influence emotional health. Patients receive support in a community medical setting rather than a residential rehabilitation environment. This makes the service suitable for people who can remain at home while attending consultations and therapy. Telehealth may also be available through participating practitioners for patients who cannot easily attend the Osborne Park clinic. The air-conditioned practice offers free parking, accessible parking and on-site pathology. Its multidisciplinary team includes general practitioners, nursing staff and visiting specialists, allowing mental and physical health needs to be considered together within a coordinated care plan.

I was recommended Main Street Medical by a friend and I’m so glad I took their advice. From the moment I walked in, the admin team were incredibly professional and organised they really know how to run the show smoothly. They were able to access my past medical records and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. The doctors and nurses are genuinely caring and take the time to listen. You can tell they truly have their patients’ best interests at heart. It’s such a relief to find a medical centre where you feel supported and well looked after. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Main Street Medical Centre. Dr. Tabish is fantastic—he’s not only highly skilled but also genuinely cares about his patients. The staff is welcoming, and the whole visit was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended.

Non-Professional booking from reception at this GP place. I have booked the appointment for my child’s 4 year old Immunisation, they cancel me 1.5 hour before the appointment, due to he is turn 4 tomorrow not today. So they can’t do it today. I didn’t get any notice about it when I make the appointment. After I took leave from work today, organised everything around to get my child for his immunisation then I got this cancellation notice. It’s very frustrating and moreover, receptionists are pushing this responsibility to their nurse and doctors, saying they will let them know next time. WHO is making people’s booking? Doctors? Nurse ? Or receptionist? The attitude of the receptionist is really bad, she made mistakes and not even one sorry to me, pushing away the responsibility.
