When I arrived at Miracles Asia I wasn't aware of exactly how unwell I was. I was originally going to go for 30 days but decided to stay for 60. Going to Miracles Asia was the most transformative thing I have ever done in my life. The blend of world-class therapists, great accomodation and food, amazing outings, access to one of the best health clubs in Thailand, and a weekly massage all provided the exact environment I needed to look at myself. The whole team are empathetic, caring and skilled at what they do. I discovered a new sane and calm life...thankyou Miracles Asia.

My experience at Miracles of Asia Rehabilitation Center has truly changed my life. From the very beginning, the owner personally picked me up from the airport, which immediately set the tone for the level of care and dedication this program provides. I stayed for over 60 days, and I have never experienced such genuine concern for my safety, mental health, and sobriety anywhere else. The staff, counselors, therapists, and the clinical director are without question the best mental health professionals I have ever encountered. They use a multi-faceted recovery approach that addresses the mind, body, and spirit. Justin brings incredibly valuable Buddhist techniques he studied for several years in India, which have become essential tools in my recovery. Joe, the clinical director, is a U.S. veteran who worked for the Veterans Affairs system, and his experience, leadership, and understanding of trauma—especially for veterans—is unmatched. What truly sets this place apart is that the counselors and staff come from all walks of life, and many are in recovery themselves. They don’t just teach recovery—they live it. They genuinely understand my struggles. Kane a licensed psychotherapist, opened my mind to new perspectives and practical tools I can use every day to stay sober. Danny, who has worked the 12 Steps and has been sober longer than I’ve been alive, brings a light-hearted but deeply knowledgeable approach. He taught me how to work the 12 Steps properly, how to attend meetings, conduct myself, and most importantly, how to prevent relapse from alcohol and marijuana. Although this is a 5-star luxury rehab, it is still affordable for veterans. I did not have to pay a single dollar—my treatment was billed through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. I strongly encourage any soldiers, sailors, or veterans who are struggling to seek out this program. They can help you with anything you are dealing with. The accommodations are beyond incredible: private luxury rooms, private pools, and the best food I’ve had in Thailand—honestly some of the best food I’ve had anywhere. The classes helped me take a deep, introspective look at my life and begin healing the trauma that led me to drink and smoke in the first place. There are nurses and therapists on staff 24/7, providing constant support. They respect personal beliefs and allow you to attend the church of your choice on Sundays. Every weekend includes amazing outings—whitewater rafting, James Bond Island, elephant sanctuaries, beach barbecues, temples, and caves. Every Saturday, we go to the beach and enjoy Michelin-star-rated meals at places like the Gibbon Sanctuary. They also take you to the best gym and spa in Phuket, where Thai Olympic athletes train. The small process groups were especially important for me because I have social anxiety. Being in groups of three or four people allowed me to open up and safely discuss deep trauma. Through this, I made lifelong connections and realized I am not alone in what I’ve been through. I am actively in recovery today, and I know with certainty that I will never drink alcohol or smoke marijuana again. I owe a debt to this program that I can never fully repay. Miracles of Asia gave me my life back. If you are struggling—especially if you are a veteran—this place can save your life.

Miracles Asia is just that, a miracle. From the luxurious, spacious, and safe accommodations, delicious and healthy meals, supportive and kind staff, integrative and solution based classes, all encompassing treatment programs, and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful therapists, Miracles Asia is in a league of their own. I will be forever grateful and indebted to Miracles Asia for saving my life and giving me the tools I need to be successful in this amazing new life of recovery. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was at rock bottom when I arrived at Miracles, I was extremely scared and nervous, immediately my nerves and worries dissipated by receiving such amazing care and kindness throughout my stay. The staff went way above and beyond to support and help me through my addictions and my physical health during my stay. Miracles very much became my family! The sessions were extremely well thought out and the day trips were truly amazing! Food incredible, rooms and surroundings are absolutely gorgeous and all the staff are so kind and accommodating. I’m so glad I chose the 90 day program to fully benefit my ongoing sobriety. I can’t recommend this wonderful rehab highly enough.
