About Turning Point Australia Church Street

Turning Point Australia Church Street is a specialist outpatient addiction service in Richmond, close to central Melbourne. Serving people from across Victoria, the clinic supports adults affected by alcohol, drugs, gambling and related mental health concerns through face-to-face and virtual care. Treatment is medical, evidence-based and tailored to the individual. Depending on a person's needs, care may include addiction medicine assessment, one-to-one counselling, medication-assisted treatment, relapse prevention, psychiatric input and neuropsychological services. Clinicians take a strengths-based, goal-oriented approach while considering physical health, emotional wellbeing, family circumstances and wider support needs. The Church Street clinic is particularly equipped to assess complex presentations, including co-occurring mental health symptoms, prescription medication concerns, opioid dependence and possible cognitive impairment. Specialists can clarify diagnoses, develop practical management plans and coordinate referrals or shared care with other healthcare and community services. This is an urban outpatient clinic rather than a residential rehabilitation centre. The wheelchair-accessible building is served by nearby tram routes and offers virtual options for eligible clients who cannot easily attend in person. Appointments and referrals may be required, so prospective clients should contact Turning Point before visiting.

Took 3 weeks to be seen for intake. 2 weeks after that and I still haven't received any follow up contact. Left very unsure of what to do now.
